Black History Month Celebration

Each year JSA hosts a Black History Month celebration. The event gets bigger and better at showcasing our school community. 

Goal Getters

In 2025 JSA launched Goal Getters! Since the launch we have seen our students thrive and reach goals and many surpass their goals. 

Individual Music Lessons

JSA is the only school in the district to provide individual music lessons to students. 

Work with a Resident Artist

Each grade level at JSA, even PreK, gets the opportunity to work with a resident artist. We have seen higher scores on unit assessments due to that work as well. 

Out In the Community

Our students get out in the community to share their art! Whether it be a local coffee shop for a poetry installation OR Newbo to share their inventions, JSA is out there. 

Imagination Day

 In 2026 JSA held their first Imagination Day! This amazing day was an opportunity to show the greatness that occurs at JSA daily. Art integration is alive at JSA. This event will continue to grow and highlight our school.
